The topic of penis size—both length and girth—has always been a subject of interest and debate. Men and women alike often discuss what the “ideal” size should be, and opinions vary widely.
While some men are comfortable with their “equipment,” others turn to pills and “miracle” products that claim to offer a pornstar-worthy size. This obsession with size is often fueled by adult films, which present an unrealistic image for most men. In the adult film industry, actors are often selected based on the size of their genitals, which plays a significant role in the industry’s appeal. However, in real life, the average penis size is much smaller than what’s depicted in films, and a recent study has revealed what women actually prefer.
What Is the Ideal Size for Women?
The University of California and the University of New Mexico conducted a study to find out the answer. Seventy-five women, aged 18 to 65, were asked to choose a penis size from 100 different molds that best satisfied their desires.
The results showed that penis size doesn’t matter much when it comes to a serious relationship. Most women chose a penis size of 16 centimeters in length and 12.2 centimeters in circumference as their ideal. Interestingly, for a casual one-night stand, the preference didn’t change significantly, with most women selecting a mold of 16.3 cm in length and 12.7 cm in circumference.
In the same study, 15 women revealed that they had ended a relationship because their partner’s penis was too small, while five others said they broke up due to their partner having an excessively large penis.
The Average Size of the Male Organ
If you’re feeling insecure about your size, you’re not alone. Research from several countries has found that penis size varies based on region. However, a 2015 study conducted on 15,000 men revealed that the average erect penis measures around 13.1 cm in length and 11.7 cm in circumference.
Is Size Really That Important?
After reading this, you might still feel insecure about your size, but as the old saying goes: “Better a small playmate than a big fool.”
For many men, this information might not change how they feel about their size, but the key takeaway is that penis size is only a small part of the equation. In fact, the most important thing is how you make your partner feel. So, if you’re looking to spice things up in the bedroom, consider exploring new ways to please your partner, whether through different types of sex or introducing sex toys. These approaches can make the experience much more pleasurable, and the size of your penis will be just a minor detail.
